Again writing one day behind.

Mourning started with nice walk around the city. First to the grand central station or something like that. Oh now wait. First was actually B&H the most awesome store I have ever visited. If you don’t know what B&H is. Well it is huge electronic store. For me speciality was of  course the camera section. Yes they had everything. all I was missing was a endless tree of money. Well at least I bought my self a lensbaby composer plus fish eye add-on. Also couple UV filters to protect my other lenses.

After that back to hotel and on our way. Towards the station…actually we found the station by accident…”could that be” “hmmm it might”. And we checked it out and it was it. Actually it was smaller than I tough. Earlier visions come from movies. Actually everything seems bigger in movies.

After some walking we arrived to the corner of Central Park and we were going to take a horse ride trough the park but it was so hot that horses weren’t usable. They would explode if they needed to walk. So we toked a bicycle ride. So that some guy did the work and we just enjoyed the ride. Human slaves, that is nice.

Ride toked us to the museum(The Metropolitan Museum of Art) and must say that it was amazing. Everything in that museum is so detailed. They have full room of old relics and they make the room look like it was in that time with those paintings,chairs and tables etc. Amazing looking. Also they had made fake windows that looked like the evening sun was shining trough them into the room.

Ok, at this point I am already at home in Finland! Hahaha yep this was left a little unfinished.

I try to remember the rest.

Other thing on the museum was the Egyptian part. worth of seeing. After the museum we escaped the scene by taxi. But where did we go? Ah now I remember. We went to the cruise. It was a couple hour cruise from Hudson river (yep they did mention the amazing landing to the Hudson river many times) to the statue of liberty and up the east side river or something like that. It was nice because it got dark and I got the chance to take loads of great photos of Manhattan in dark with some nice sunset moonlight on the background. After the cruise it was time to hit the hotel and sleep.

Now I’m actually still awake. It over 5:00 am here in Finland. So probably I’m suffering from the time chance or something. I will now go and try to get some sleep. I was there actually about 3 hours already just trying it…didn’t succeed.

Ok, one day has passed in between. I didn’t write anything yesterday.

Actually whole day was spend at American museum of natural history. We saw almost the whole musuem with some nice space movie stuffs etc. Loads of bones and cool shit.

After that walk trough central park to the rockefeller building to view some nice sunset. It was excellent. Must say couple words about the central park. It was actually positive suprise. Really nice and relaxing place to chill out. I think that people here would kill them selfs in a second if they woudn’t have that park. Did you know that park is man made?  Designed by Fredrucj abd Calvert. Some bad ass dudes. Also about thousand trees were brought there. And loads of soil so they could have hills etc there.

Food was  eaten at the museum. It was crap. total shit crap. :D hahaha
But the evening food at some irish pub was great. Mostly because we had the whole upstairs of the restaurant for our selves. Except the two people who served us.

Remember to get million 1 dollar bills when you come to New York.

Actually day three was yesterday. I was to tired to write anything down.

We did some hardcore tourist stuff. First we went into the vaxmuseum of madame tussaud. It was hmmm ok. Some nice figures there like Bill Gates. :D  We also had the chance to go into the 4D movie theatre! Awesome! Or well well…for children at least. Luckily im 18 years old so I swallowed it just fine. So it was this old school 3D with classes red and green. Movie was about Wizard of Oz. So now you might wonder, what is the 4D about? I tough about that also. In Finland we are stuck to the 3D at the moment.

4D ok, in this case with Alice it meant physical evilness. For example air blowing back of oyur hair. Water was sprayed from somewhere. Soap bubbles. Some smells etc. It wasn’t total catastrophe, it was funny. :) It comes with the ticket so if you sometimes go there, Try it out.

On e of the tourist miracles here is the way they sell you the services. For example they give you special discount tickets. This ticket applies only to the full service that would for example be 35money. You can use it and you get discount of 5money so now it’s 30 money. If you don’t take the whole package they are offering it will be over 30 money and of cource you can’t use the discount bill. So if you come here. Remember to watch out for the discount tickets. In new yourk you must use all discounts you can find. Even the hotel repair guy sayed that to us in the elevator as we were watching our discount tickets.

Everything seems expensive here. Don’t come here if you don’t have money. Unless you just want to walk around the streets. Altought they might come up with a way to get money from that also.

We eat at NY Hard Rock cafe. It was nice. Altought it was to noisy. Not the people but the damn music. Use of loud music in a food place or restaurant is not nice. At hard rock cafe you almost couldn’t talk. It was so loud. Positive suprise was the prices it wasn’t expencive as we expected.

But there was a paper money in the toilet who wanted some dollars. C-class work, living by tips. niiiicee…

What is the main feeling after seeing and feeling america is that Finland is awesome. It is number one. From now on if someone tells me that Finland is bad place to be I would nicely like hit him/her straight in the face and send him here to enjoy great america and hand out toilet papers ec.

If people stopped visitin USA it would do something rather bad to their economy. It feels that all the workers are payed by tips and what would happen if all the tips would stop coming in.

Ok let’s continue. After hard rock we went to somekind of buss drive. ah sightseeing is the right kind of word for this…with buss. It was couple of hours. We saw all the high buildings that incliude some famous people living in them.

After the buss round we did loads of walking and some nice eating.

Last was the MOMA museum of modern art. It was suprising because it was free. Well free means that it ha And loads of people there also. When I get home I think I will vomit when I see people. :D

There was some nice works and some “art” Well art…and some amazing photography…NOT. hahaha I did some gonzo filming around the museum. Maybe I will use that in some project in the future. :)

We also visited MOMA’s caffee place. We just wanted something to drink. I choosed Root beer. I didn’t actually here what she asked. Two options for the root beer. I choosed the second one. And I get this kind of root beer. It was rather special…Ice cream and root beer. Now have you ever tasted root  beer? Have you ever uses listerine(purple)? Well that is what root beer tastes like. So Finland doesn’t have root beer but we do have listerine.

Museum closed at 8:00pm and we felt sooo tired that we retired back to our hotel for a good night sleep.

Yes well,,,at least new york is filthy. It’s maybe so that the ground is filthy but all the buildings etc look filthy. Old and filthy.

Today we decided to walk loong way to the Bodies Exhibition.

On the way there was museum of sex. Well that had to be seen. First they sold all kinds of stimulating stuff/art etc that was erotic. The museum part was nice. There was loads of video “samples” of erotic in different times. Even the animal kingdom was included…well more the sexual  behaviour side of their life. For example dolphins have gay sex. So the old saying is true…Dolphins are gay sharks. Also the fact how turtles penis works is worth seeing. It’s nothing basic…it’s like a alien. Also necrophiliac rapist duck was interesting.

After that place loads of walking. down down…we saw loads of stores and millions of people running around. Than there was some of little italy and china town. China town had some nice fish market stuffs. :)

After that we finally reached the Bodies. It was amazing. I wish they would had sell those body parts for suveniers. :) At least some tumors.

Then off to eat. And we did eat…great hamburger meals. My hamburger had bacon…well it was trange. It was serverd on a different plate. Those two peaces of bacon.

When you have yor stomach full you usually feel te urge to visit the ocean. So we left on to the Staten island ferry. It’s free and you can see the statue of liberty from there. And of cource you can also see the whole mahattan. Ok it was nice relaxation there and back trip that last for about little under one hour. Nice wind from the sea…It has actually been really hot. Suprise I didn’t turn into Hell boy yesterday with all that sun.

Oh and we did visit the forbidden planet. It was a shame that t-shirt with Dalek and text EXTERMINATE had only fat size available. Well I tooked the classic Punisher t-shirt instead.

I just watched left and there is the tv of our hotelroom. Channels here are great. Loads of HD programs. Like now there is that one scifi movie going…you know that one.

And from good to bad! The toilets…Here they have so much water in the toilet that …whyyy? and design is flawed. It feels that almost your ass is touching the surface of the water.

Ok back to the day. It was getting late…and we tired. We walked to the wtc ruins. Nothing to see there, no even any corpses left. I felt sad…because there was no corpses. After that into the taxi and back to hotel. I actually got a blister two my toe. That is rare in my case.

Taxi drive was fun….survival of the fittes like I meantioned earlier.

Yep this place is chaotic. At least from my point of view. Altought not chaotic in a good way. No space and people running everywhere.

Before we left to the 9 hour flight I had amazing burger at Helsinki airport. It was basic chicken burger…greatness was that it wasn’t with those damn fries. It came with mashedpotato. It was great. Picture included.

Flight went ok. It wasn’t painful like you could image. Mainly because the airplane is equipt with this “personal eterntainment system” or somthing like that. Well it was nice. I did watch “How to train a dragon” and “class of  the Titans” (second time, first time was 3D version…3D sucks)

But the etertaiment system it self seemed rather unfinished and utterly slow. For example it had games…but simple games had long loading times and they weren’t playable at all. Also some odd bugs that the menu where you have some buttons would’t hide after forwarding the movie. Ok, but in the end it was better than nothing.

Must rant little about the headphones also. They were free and they sucked. Why do they use those wierd plugs? It has two different male connectors. Why aren’t those like normal headphone plugs? I could use my own good ones. At least they should sell some better versions that block outside noise and have better bass etc etc. Now they mostly destroy your hearing.

From the airport we decided to use Taxi to move our asses to Manhattan. Right after the outdoor of the airport some fake taxi dude tried to hax us off to use some “taxi” of he’s own. We used the basic yellow.

All buildings along the way looked rather bad. Like russia. Also roads were in really bad shape. Traffic seemed to work on the basis of the old good “survival of the fittest”. We got to the hotel alive. Hotel is nice. People were nice and room is nice. Bottle of wine in the room etc. Wlan..of cource. :)

After getting to know our hotel room we left of the chaos. Those streets…small and big ones. More and more people and cars. Running and making loads of noises. Plus after being awake for too long all starts to be too much for the braiiiin….

Well we went to the empire state building and some blue guys sold us some special ticket arrangement with visit to the top and visit to NYskyride. Yep…well it sounded great. Virtual flight around manhattan and we could see the places etc. Well in the end it was more than hilarious. Some wierd screen displays where was this woman speaking how great the whole thing is and some pointless presentations about new york. All those strange stops to these screens before the mighty virtualflight. At least we now know that all the old TV’s are inside empire state building.

After the video display with moving floor we got up to the tower. It was great. darkenss had fallen and we could see all the city light below us.

Last thing for the day one was to get something to eat. Well we ended up into this straaaaange Korean restaurant where the food was even stranger…well ok I have never eaten in Korean restaurant before. First they brought loads of plates with allkinds of  wierdnes on them. :D There was couple ones I coudn’t even try to taste. I just had this vision in my mind that next night I will spend in the toilet if I touch those. My main food was ok, but it had so strange textures in it. Every mouthful was …strange. …didn’t know should it go up or down. :)

Beer helped.

Now SLEEP. In Finland it’s 6.34 …here it’s not even 11pm.

I filmed the material at Rövaren Island near Espoo. I did the music in strange way. Well no, I played acoustic guitar just in a normal way. Now  with my penis or anything. I watched the movie and played stuff that first came to my mind from the visual. Of cource I had to watch it trough couple of times.
